Susanna in Finlandia Trophy

Susanna started her season in Finlandia Trophy (10 -11 Oct)

Susanna skated a harmonic and beautiful short program, gaining scores of 53,64. Her almost clean performance took her to the third place after the short program.

- I am happy with my skate today, and I got more out of my program than at practices. I managed to land my jumps, even though I am a bit disappointed with my landing on the flip. But since I have not had so good practices lately I have to be satisfied with the way how I skated today, Susanna said after her short.

Susanna failed in her free program and was 10^th in the final standings.  She was not happy about it but she knows it is only a beginnig of the season.

-  Today I could not find as good feeling as yesterday, and my free program felt forced. My program run throughs at practices have been inconsistent, as well. I have changed the order of my jumps in the program. Maybe I ran out of stamina, speculated Susanna.

- However, I have to remember I skated a good short program yesterday. I will forget about my program today. And we athletes from Oulu will do well at most important competitions!

Susanna´s next competition will be in Moscow (GP) 22 - 25 Oct.
